I have a 87 conv and I'm trying to find out what I can do about my top, when its up there is a space between the body and the top, air seeps through this space, Im not sure if I need to buy some type of foam or rubber to seal this, please advise.

Space up front where the top latches to the windshield header or to the back towards the tonneau cover? These cars all have small gaps where air (and water) can come in, but if it is the later, I would suspect the tonneau was replaced improperly. There is not much room for error when replacing a tonneau. Another common problem of the earlier Capri models is the rubber seals along the top where the windows in the doors rise. Typically, this is just a issue of needing to straighten out the rubber piece while raising the top into the upward position. Not sure if this is true with the Mustang models?

Hopefully your issue is the later of the 3...
