Just wanted to know if Mclaren ever built a 6cyl version of the capri convertible?

I have a guy just north of me sending me some pics of his 85 vert that he claims is a Mclaren.

He is looking to sell it so if anyone is interested let me know.

Mike

In 1986 they made a very small handful of 6cyl cars. All 85s were v8 cars...

Post the vin of this car and we could tell you...

In his PM to me he actually didn't state what year it was he says he doesn't know.
He only said that it is a red vert.He is asking 3500.00 for it.
I will get more info from him when he sends me the pics.

Yes to 6-Cyl. 1986 'Verts. Send VIN

EDIT

THE absolute rarest 1986 has to be a 6-Cyl 'Vert WITH the Ground Effects Package and Fog Lights, in White or Black. I know a couple were so made, but they have never surfaced Crying or Very sad I omit Paris Blue, Atlantic Blue & Strerling Silver as the Sixes were built & shipped prior to those 3 colors being added to the mix.......or so I was told...... Exclamation Question
