I know the 7272 isn't correct, but I had one in my original '85 after playing the warranty game.

I got the circuit diagram. Gonna disassemble, bench it again and check where the voltages are off. I'll post the Service manual in on my site soon.

It's doing a similar thing as the current one in my car...so maybe if I figure it out, I'll fix 2 for 1.
