If anyone in the SoCal area is interested in bringing out their McLarens, this is the last People's Choice Show of the year. November 18, in Westminster, Ca. Should be beautiful weather, good times and cool trophies.
And this isn't just for Mustangs. There is a Merc class for the Capris. I'd love to see another ASC at the show. Here is the website for entry http://www.bcmc.net/ Scott bring your Capri out!
By the way Sandy, my '88 will be in the stock class. See how i do. Thanks for the Code D32 info, going to represent! _________________ Mike

"Show" the car wit the top UP for the "full effect" showing the Mercedes-style roof. After judging, you can lower the top, to present a different look - "look at me, again" ~ _________________ Sandy passed away in 2012. He will be forever missed.

Hey Mike, thanks for the info. I will try to keep the date in mind and see how I might be able to make time to attend. However, work is a problem this year with our conversion from one Student Adminsitration System to another (we are in the middle of an 18 month project) and then I received some terrible news tonight. My wife brought me home a 2 year old yellow lab a couple of years ago. Dusty just turned 4 years old on 9/10/2007. He has been having ear infection troubles (or so we thought) for the past 2 months. We just heard from the vet tonight he has cancer and will live only a couple of months longer. I can not begin to tell you the pain my wife and I are suffering, which is probably nothing to what Dusty is experiencing. My wife is a cancer survivor! This does not make our current situation any easier, but we do understand the pain he is in. We are looking to see how we might improve his remaining time with us. Only time will tell how this turns out.
We will meet up again at another car show if not this one this year! |

Scott, sorry to hear the news. It's a terrible and hopeless feeling when any member of your family is battling cancer. I lost my Mom last December to cancer and my Dad passed away in the same fashion about ten years ago. Lost both of my parents when they turned 58 years old. My thoughts and prayers go out to you and yours in your time of need.
Sorry to harrass you about the car show. We'll get together in the future. Best of luck. _________________ Mike
