Became a member last nite and bought my first Mclaren today. 1988 white/scarlet/black #985.
can anyone recommend an insurance co. I have Geico for my other cars.
Geico does not offer classic insurance until the car reaches 25.
Thanks ROG |

Grundy Classic Car Insurance in Horsham, Pa is # 1 - I have all of my cars with them, and they recognize ascMcLarens and the pricing is extremely reasonable !

Has anyone ever had to make a claim with Grundy? Their rates are rock bottom compared to what I pay now, and I'm considering switching. I'm just concerned about how they handle claims and customer service.
Thanks. _________________ '87 Guards Red ascMcLaren (#398) |

Thank God, No - but I am another car-board (Lincoln Town Car) and somebody there had a 1962 Continential and had a good bump in the back and was pleased with Grundy. In THAT business, BAD NEWS travels fast, and can wipe them off the map 1-2-3- when word get out among car-people, so I doubt that ANY company would be "bad". _________________ Sandy passed away in 2012. I use heacock classic car insurance for my vert and mach1. I pay about 600.00 a year for both. They will pay or replace the car for an amount you and the agency agree on. My vert is $17,500 and the mach is 25,000.00. They do limit the mileage to 3000 a year per car. Check em out.
