Is this panel glued or double stick taped on? Any tricks to removing?

I don't own a vert but pretty sure it is glued on.

My 1986 convertible had it glued on. I had the same issue about 9 years ago.

Sounds lke most we damaged. Did you do anything special to avoid damaging the panel?

I don't remember anything specific or special. I know at least one side was detached for a couple of feet in and I just lifted it enough to get my hand underneath and flat to the deck. I slowly kept pushing with my hand flat on the deck (like a wedge), working it back and forth and it came up fairly easy. Which meant it could have flown off while driving with the top down!
