i have a 1988 mclaren mustang there was only 14 of these cars made with this color scheme it is jet black with tan interior, the interior needs a little tlc and it needs a new convertible top put on car has 5.0 high output that runs very good everything is there ...

Sorry this was not my car. I saw it on craigslist, but did not go see it yet. In talking with him it is in good shape, need overdrive and top.

Is this the emblem on the passenger side by the door?

Yes, that is it.

It is the top screw held on by two bolts at the back of the convertible top into the cover. This is what releases the rear of the top to let down.

Looking for a car cover for my 89 mclaren. What do you guys use? I found one for a Mercedes SLK 350, would that work?

Does anyone have a screw pin assembly? Need on for my 89 ASC.
