that swivel adapter cost me a mere $38.50... wasn't very happy about it but I require an unlimited warranty on my tools.

Mike, I had posted on Four Eyed Pride as well and someone told me to go at it from behind the motor mount. I ended up using two extensions with a u joint in the middle and then a swivel adapter for the half inch socket at the end. I slithered it behind the motor mount as was suggested and it was ...

starter removal

Does anybody have any experience removing the top bolt on the starter of a 5.0.

I can't seem to get at the top bolt no matter how I go at it.

I had posted about a power drop-off soon after I bought the Green Machine.

Thought it was one of the pumps. But no. Pressure is good and consistent.

Absolutely they do. Thickness, grain, color... don't see any match.

My guess is that they were selected out of a large supply of parts without regard to aesthetics.

Above my glove box is the nicest wood, grain and color tone. It will be my example for the rest.

I have only had the stereo faceplate off. It is painted black on the back too with no glue. None of the wood seems to match.

The wood above the glove box is the nicest quality, but the other 3 pieces looks like they were made in haste. The large piece does not line up properly with the steering ...

I purchased my '84 in the low 3000 range. Automatic, probably gonna change both fuel pumps soon and the throttle position sensor is a little "off". Also the top is pretty ugly and needs replacement.

I was very happy with my purchase, and knew it need some work when I got it. Best part... all ...
