Thanks, I was thinking of using another switch hidden under seat maybe to control solenoid, but I will look into using a timer also.

Has anybody put the tonneau cover solenoid on a different switch from the pull-down motor so that the solenoid isn't energized while the pull-down is running? This would give the motor more voltage to run.

I just purchased a 1988 Mclaren Mustang,dash number is 1163.I would like to learn some history on the car if anyone know's any,or,that I should get lucky enough for the original owner to see this.The car is yellow,and I've been told that only twoom '88's were painted as such.Thanks John
