sold my black (white) 86 convert last yr...
it needed alot of work but was a nice rust free az car
but found a decent 85 during the week.
funky color combo, orange with tan leather...but its a benchmark
car color for ASC. Also its an auto, kinda strange.

Im look at these cars as being worth more down the road as close to original as possible, wishing mine mas a little closer to stock enginewise as possible.
Their hp stock back in the day is still respectable by todays standards and for every day driving. I wont be doing anymore mods to mine and only ...

Been looking over my 1986 ASC convert.
The motor has a GT40 intake on it, I know it has a cam
in it, not exactly sure, possibly a B303.
Not sure about the heads, could be GT40, not sure.
What else I find interesting, is the cars been converted to MAF
and done well too. After some time cleaning it up ...

Which is the proper way or order to lower these tops ?
I found the rocker switch behind the driver seat on the
LR inside panel. Put I cant figure out how to get the rear ...

Ive tried emailing Sandy for the registry, and it keeps bouncing
back non deliverable.. ..any ideas ?

washed off some of the dust today..
maybe Ill drop the tank tomorrow and clean that out
as it prob needs a new fuel pump too.
Thinking about starting a mild resto, at least with a new top
to keep the interior from getting any worse and then
maybe redo the recaros and go from here.

the front bumper covers are pretty standard, but I may be
needing on. But I may need some other stuff too for the car
I towed home today.

the bad news its been sitting in the Az sun for about 5 yrs
the good news, it only has 66k miles on it and no rust being
an Az car :) and pretty complete for the most part.
Even the Recaros (although a bit rough) are there and Momo steering wheel.
