Last car of 53 'REGULAR' cars still leaves 12 cars, meaning your anniversary car and the other 11 were all built AFTER your 'LAST' car, period.

just a little thought here....

We all know the cars wern't converted by VIN; I'm confident the dash plaques were not really in complete sequence either; however if the statment you made which I quote below is true, from your account of the anniversary cars - and there were only 65 cars in 90 ...

It's not a replacement plate. I've never thought there is any reason to believe vin's matched dash numbers on these cars.
I ordered mine in late 05/90, took delivery in 07/90.

I'll make an effort to get a decent picture one day, last time I tried it came out either washed out by the flash or too ...

Check your post of 04/2006, I own one that's far from shabby....

The d/p IS NOT 1909, never was, but the most consistant things about these cars is each is one of one - things happened. The plate was not lost, just not 1909.

It is white on white, Scarlet interior, base color from Ford was black, and the Sikkens ASC applied white is a 3 stage paint.
