Stuck throttle

Hello,

I’m relatively inept when it comes to diagnosing mechanical issues, and could use some help. Recently, the throttle on my ’87 has been stuck when cold. At start up, the gas pedal won’t depress. Even manually trying to move the throttle under the hood doesn’t work. When the car warms up, it ...

Silver wheels, $200

Seems pretty reasonable if you're in the market. Not my listing.

Large car shows that welcome all kinds of enthusiasts

Hello,

I'm doing a project for work where I'm trying to identify large, nationally known auto shows that showcase all kinds of diverse car subcultures - from antiques and classics to muscle cars, tuners, low riders, rat rodders, European classics, off-roaders...

Any suggestions? I can think of ...

I suspect it's cowl flex, but once they crack air can be a big problem. Make sure it's secure along the top. One day I was on a road trip with mine and all of a sudden air got under it and the whole windshield started shaking violently. It was scary.

I put the Maximum Motorsports strut tower brace ...

Just tried on the cover last night. The C13008 fits the Mustang like a glove. The side mirror slots are a little baggy, but it appears as though there wont be an water pocketing or puddling issues.

Pretty happy with the initial quality. We'll see how it holds up in the Atlanta weather. Luckily she ...

Just purchased the Sunbrella from CarCoverWorld.com. The code for the Mustang is the same, according to them (C13008). They were nice enough to throw in the cable lock and bag...after spending $418 on a cover, of course.

Oh well. Nothing but the best for my baby!

Lincoln emulating 90s Pontiac design cues?

Taste is of course subjective, but this is an unfortunate design direction, IMHO.

Thanks, svo413. The Sunbrella was another I was considering.

Luckily my off-street parking spot will get some shade (parked between two houses). I'll keep digging on reviews. It's a pretty hefty investment for a cover, but I suppose it's far, far cheaper than leaving her out in the elements or ...

Thanks, Sandy. I'll check it out. I was looking at the Weathershield HD that sells on Wolf's site. It's supposedly the most versatile in terms of moisture, UV and ding protection. But you certainly pay for it.

The thought of my baby sitting outside for the first time in the seven years I've owned ...

High-quality outdoor car cover for Mustang? Any suggestions?

Hello,

There is an unfortunate possibility that I will be losing my garage space, and I can't really justify storage expenses given my current situation. Does anybody have any suggestions for a high-quality, breathable cover?

Also, if you have any suggestions on canopies, let me know. Not sure ...

Bryan, that's not right. I have Grundy, and I can take my car where ever I want. ( don't - but that's not correct. You need to call them and find out what's what.)

According to Grundy's policy quote, "errands" aren't covered, and it can't be used for "back up" transportation. However, after ...

Grundy seems like a great deal. However, in reading the policy quote they gave me a while back, it wasn't flexible enough for my driving habits. For example, I couldn't drive the car "shopping," and running up to Home Depot or the grocery store is a common summertime outing. I just park it well out ...

Bud Light Lime "get it in the can" ad

Hmmmm...A friend at an ad agency sent me this. I'm not so sure this will help sell more beer.

What do you guys think of beer advertising lately? I'm in the industry and just curious.
