Was a remote key fob available on the '87 McLaren? If so, are there any available anywhere?

PROBLEM SOLVED! Thanks to a suggestion from Sandy, I pulled the switch out and sure enough, one of the wires had broken off! When I touched wire to broken piece, it worked. After not driving or having my battery attached to my '87 in about 7 weeks, I reattached the battery cables and tried putting the top down yesterday and the switch did not work...no sound at all. I need a new exhaust system for my '87 and am wondering when talking to an exhaust place, do I say I need one for an LX or a GT? I assume they are different after looking in a Mustang parts catalog. But I know these cars all started out as LX's.
