Do you think I am inline when it comes to price? I know there are some near showroom cars out there that go for way more, but from what I have seen, a good driver should be in the price range I have set. If I am wrong though, please let me know.

You may want to be more clear...do you think he is "inline"? or "wrong"?

I think $6-8k should find a very decent weekend cruiser.

He probably should wait until October to buy the car though when most people are trying to sell their summer toys. Right now...people are going to be ready to play with them since spring is here!

Well, I a line on one, a nice red one, but it fell through. Can't really blame the guy, I wouldn't sell if I had one either! The modified one on Ebay (white with blue interior) ended at nearly $10,000. Something about the molded in ground effects bothers me. Something looks funny in a couple of the pictures of the wheel wells. Besides that, his picture of himself shows him standing in front of an American flag wearing what looks to be fatigues, and the flag is hung backwards!

Anyway, point is I am still hunting... arg!

I like that car!

#1. It's thelast 1987 made
#2. While I prefer OEM wheels, those are the best aftermarket ones I've seen on a McLaren
#3. It's a "1-off". THE only (1987-1990) made in black with blue interior !!

Oops. I'm slipping, here...Raven Black with Light & Dark Regatta Blue Interior....there, that's better

Regardless, I do like that car :!: :!:

I went to the original add and saw the wheels. Wow they are incredible! The gold caps are sweet too. Good luck on the sale, if I had the funds I would definately look into your car.

Sandy don't forget me the guy with the White 86 auto. I am unsure about the 373's though. I will check the door tag.

to be on topic though... I see many ASC's in your price range. Make sure to look around nice ones often go for just a tad more than the ones that are not so nice.

Best of luck
