Plum, they are for the most part, probably NOT anything you'd WANNA see
They are the only group pic I have with more than 8 ascMcLarens at 1 sport at the same time. The others are the ones I posted after #1 - that being inside the factory. With between 17 & 23 years of age, any used as daily drivers by the "it's just a car" community. are long gone. Especially in the metropolitian areas, near major cities.
Sandy passed away in 2012. He will be forever missed.

the mustang alley is probably going to be the site of the asc meet.
there just doesnt seem to be enough interest to have our own lot.
out of the 10 cars signed up at mustang alley, only 7 of those cars expressed interest on this site for our own lot. plus another 2 (pete & hippy).
we would need about 15 to 20 cars to justify a lot of our own.
and even then it would cost more than the 10 bucks the alley is charging.
there were 6 gp4 cars signed up last year, but only 4 showed.
hopefully we can get all 6 (plus there is a chance of 2 more showing).
Peter, is your car even close to being ready for the cruise?

$10 is fine with me, and I thought the lot was a pretty decent location on the alley. I just didn't care for the 2 white cargo vans sitting in the front. (even though I didn't bring my car last year). Maybe something can be said to the organizers about that.......tfs2121 wrote:oh and i would pay more then 10 bucks if the lot is actuly on woodward. i didnt like that about the alley
Peter, where are you coming from to this? I was confused about where you are from, I've heard you mention Mich. and Ohio.
So, Ken's friends have McLarens too? Have you seen them?
1988 ASC McLaren #688
right now i go to school/live in OH but i am from Farmington Hills, MI the car is in OH with me
i still dont like the idea of going to woodward but not being on woodward i think the lot the guy were in last year was off of 9 mile

Hey guy does anyone know the date this yar for the cruise?
I haven't been in a few years and would like to go. I can remember the first one and how much fun I had. I stayed up the night before intallling the engine in my 64 Galaxie 500 fastback. Took it for the brakein test drive down wWoodward not expecting much. After overheating and parking for the day I didn't get out of there until about 1 in the morning. I am gioing to try to have my Capri on the road again by then even if I have to pull another anighter the day before.
