MINT CONDITION 88 FOR SALE

Post by cali »

I have a 1988 McLaren that I would like to sell to someone who would take care of it. It is in Mint condition. Silver with gray interior and a black top. Just over 11,000 original miles. Everything is original except updated air conditioning and stereo. I don't want to put it on Ebay because it will not get the respect it deserves there. If you are interested submit your email or phone number and I can give you more info. I will post pictures soon.

I can not post pictures (that I know of) because they are not located on a public webpage. So if you knows how please leave me a post and I can get them on here. Thank you.

There is the members Album on this site as well as your own personal Album folder. Not sure if there is a waiting period for new members, but it appears you have an Album. Once loaded in your album, you will be able to link or copy into your post on this site.

Hope that helps...

Congrats on the sale. As part of our ongoing effort to set values on these cars, I will be the crass one and ask how much you got for it.

Thanks for the information. Did you tell the new owner about this website, or is he/she already here?

Yeah, of course I had to tell them about this site. Who could have a mclaren and not be on here.

I am getting my gold/beige/tan 1989 ready and when it sells (if it is not someone on here already) I will tell them also.

That was the exact vehicle I have desired! Perfect condition and a 5speed too! DOH! I should have been paying more attention to my Mclaren disorder...

Still want a silver or gray with a 5 speed and as clean/original as possible! A little help Sandy?!!!

Cheers,
DH

Mine is a 1990. It's 1 of 12 originally planned, but 1 of 2 actually made!
It's a Silver Anniversary Edition, in Silver Metallic with a black cambria cloth top & "Scarlet" Interior. It's an automatic tranny car, with optional Remote Keyless Entry and Illuminated Entry System, and a security system. It is "as new" without a single flaw. Mileage is 7327.
I bought it out of the New Hampshire Auto Museum, where it had belonged to the co-owner. Everything works on it as designed.

Not really sure I want to part with it. I have "Well...Okay" days and "No Way" days.... :shrug

wow what a beauty. I prefer the grey interior to the red to live with daily but that really looks good in such perfect condition. I suspect your asking will be far higher than the other one. Let me know when you have a "I need to sell this now" kind of day to swing it in my favor!

I'm also very partial to the azura blue as one was for sale nearby a few years ago. I'll have to check production to see if they made the blue with gret interior.

All the best, DH
