I was never too keen on the "C" pillars of the 1979-1982, but when the bubble back came out, i really liked it. To my eyes, the black magic bubble back is 1 of my top 6 Capri favorites, along with the 1984 Charocal Turbo, any "White Lightening" black magic, and a few others.

806 = Crimson Cats I am pretty sure.

ALSO, BUT, HEY, I only report what they send me (Okay SenT me) - and that is what it said. If I omitted it....the engine totals would not equal the prduction total, making it look like 117 cars left with NO engine.... what can I say.... ? Maybe it did happen ? Who are we mortals to know ??

Wow....I didn't realize the Black Magics were as rare as they are. I recently saw a really clean '83 Black Magic for sale on ebay...I don't recall if it sold or not...and it was a V-8 car WITH t-tops. It was previously a magazine car; I remembered it from years ago in MM&FF or some other mags.....hmmmm maybe it was a mistake to let the auction pass

By the way - all the engine #'s do add up:

117 V-8
202 6-Cyl.
143 4-Cyl.
007 Turbo 4

117+202+143+7 = 469

How was it being said, "looks like 117 left with no engine"?

According to specs, there was no V-8 offered in Capri for 1983.

I don't understand. Which specs? The Ford Factory lit has the 5.0 listed for the 1983 Capri everywhere...
