holy snow!!!
We just had around 20 inches of snow dumped on us here in S. WI, in the last 14 hours. The interstates are pretty much shut down due to semis not being able to get traction. The county plows were pulled off the roads at 6pm, schools are even cancelling for tommorrow due to the weather. I have been out 3 times plowing for the neighborhood today. The last time I was out at 4:30 this afternoon and I could not get any traction with the quad because of the ice under the snow.
I guess the car still won't be coming out for a long time yet.

You will find, as you age, that with each 3-4 years you age, that you hate of snow will increase by 10%.
At my age, I hate snow, simply hate it. Since I can no longer shovel the stuff, I have to pay $100.00 to have the 6 car driveway plowed out, plus the sidewalk (55 feet) in front of my propety. Since the wifes Jeep Cherokee Limited 4X4 is the ONLY vehicle that is allowed to go out, we have to share it. In short order it's covered with snow, road salt, mush & muck all over it, which ultimatly will cost $100.00 to bring it back to showroom condition. Plus the ever promisie of a posssble fender bender courtesty of some dumb Toyota or Honda driver.
I don't mind cold, even down to 10 degrees above zero, but I hate snow, which is why all the aged folks retreat to South Carolina or Florida.

Yeah, I here that. We have almost broken the record snowfall here this year. I think we are almost at 6 feet now.
I have plowed so many driveways this year I can't stand it anymore. I think my poor quad is going to need a rebuild now. Or just get a new one.
I haven't even taken the snowmobile out this year. Any other year I can't wait to get out and hit the trails.
I even have it listed on ebay right now.

Hey guys, anyone of you want to move here. Snow is nothing. We have it here for much longer than all you. And a cold winter night can go as low as 40 below zero. I live just below 49th parralel. Someday I'll move down south. Stop complain. ; )

Yes sir that is COLD. Things are breaking just by the cold. Ever drove a car that is just like a steel block. You don't have any suspension on your car, everything is just like a solid block. Diesel fuel become almost solid. Need a good engine heater to get started.

Damn right, you better stay down south. I don't even understand why we live here. Especially a car guy like me.

We have a summer too. It is not long from late May to September we can use the convertible. Summer days are sometime very hot.
The daytime is long here in summer so it helps a bit. You can read a book at daylight if you are outside to 10:00 pm in the longer days of summer.
