In the pic it appears this guy seems to have a coupe too...

I probably could match the ebay id with an owner but I'm too tired right now to look...

Here's a pic of the white vert in the background, it's 86-226. The wing gives it away. :-)

Hello all and thanks for the warm welcome. I have actually been on the site for a while just keepng a low profile as I check out all the cool stuff on here. I will for sure post some more pics as soon as I get some extra time.
Not sure if I would use the word "prototype" to describe the convert. The previous owner told me that he purchased the car off the floor at the auto show in Detroit and had added nothing. In fact when I bought the car 8 years ago it still had the orginal BF Goodridge Comp T/As that I later replaced because of dry rottening and cracking. It is an 85 with 23,000 mi.

Sorry, I accidently sent my reply before I finshed typing it. DAMN......I hate when that happens, I just get too excited when talking about these cars. Anyway........as I was saying Mike. I think ASC just did a few "add-ons' for the auto show to make the car look a little different. I wish it was a true prototype ! By the way, I have been following the progress of your coupe. OUTSTANDING job !

Thanks. Welcome aboard.

You should supply us with some more pictures of both cars. Feel free to upload as many as you want to the albums here (hint hint).
