Cool, post up some pictures.

86capriasc, can we get some pictures of the cam? Are there any stripes or color dawbs on it anywhere?

I didn't notice any other marking on the cam. But remember the motor had 100k on it so anything that was on was probably worn off.

I also wonder if there was any issues with these cams, that maybe the original owners may have had them replaced.

Well, considering a brand new 86 wouldn't run right with a B303 cam, I'd say...yeah, I can see people walking back into the dealer demanding the car be fixed and the CAM swapped back out...if the dealer understood the real reason why

I'm thinking that mine is not a B303 by looking at it. I have looked at other pics were there is a m6250 stamped into the end. Mine does not have that. Maybe being installed at asc or ford they didn't have that stamping though. You can see the drawing off the stampings in my album.

Do you have a caliper? Can you measure one of the lobes from heel to toe?

I have a B303 (2 actually) and can do the same measurement. This would tell us if the lift is the same.
