After seeing "SC" in another post I was just thinking the same thing. To bad we aren't clear on its meaning. I've seen it mean super charger, super coupe, sport coupe, specialty car, and so on.MyMclaren wrote:What does the SC stand for?
I remember there was a dispute between Ford and Saleen back around 1988. Saleen had wanted to call its limited edition Mustang they were about to come out with in 1989 an "SC" however Ford was launching the Thunderbird SC at the time so Saleen had to settle for SSC in its place. Just some more useless information.

lol this could go on for days. the guys from http://jalopnik.com/ that took pics of marks car asked what it was for. me and mark must have named off 10 SC acronyms. we told them no one knows.

Wow I can only imagine how many different media sources were present for the show. Someday I will hope to go. Unfortunately wont be driving that far though.
