Karen & I drove down to the Princeton New Jersey area and met up with Cindy (on this site 88-254 and her hubby, Jim. First and above all, truly fun and great people. I wish all of you could meet them! Devoted to ascMcLaren is a grand understatement!
Snowball Edition. I saw it. I was duly impressed. It has an aftermarket top. It is the one & only aftermarket top that follows the original to the letter, 100 perrcent identical to the original !!!! The only way I could tell was that the manufacture stamp in the little plastic rear wrap-around window was not the original maker's. The car looks darn near perfect. One or two tiny itty bitty specs the size of one of these here letters of nearly microscopic paint chips. No door dings and perfect wheels.
You cannot believe how white this car looked pulling into the parking lot.
Snow white paint. snow white roof, snow white seats, and snow white wheels! If you knew nothing about cars....you'd know THIS one was special.
If I had gotten in during open ordering, I woulda ordered one.
So good to get out, again after so much illness and chemo and now-a-days everyone says I look wonderful. Looking in the mirror - I'd agree!
TOMORROW is make it -- or break it, for me. CAT SCAN at hoispital, to see if any traces of Cancer remain - if so, BACK to the Chemo labs.
Snowball Edition has the Whistler Remote Radar Detector option. It' a very nice and unique car.
Cindy will be along shortly and she brought her camera along & took pics of me and Karen in Karen's "Special Tee Shirt" and Hi Ho Scarlet next to Snow Ball Edition and we had really cool fun.
Turns out that husband JIM AND I were both in the car businsess at a prior time in our lives, so we ALOT to talk about.
Truly a great day and both cars performed like new.
Watch for Cindy's photos !!
Thank You, Cindy & Jim for your wonderful hospitality and the pleasure of your company !!

Thank you so much for the kind words. Jim and I had a wonderful time and very much enjoyed meeting you, Karen, and Hi Ho Silver. She is perfect. Jim said she is so clean underneath, as clean as my kitchen floor or better. It was so good to meet with another ascMcLaren lover. I have learned so much from you and know I will continue to do so.
I am going to attempt to post the pictures now to my album. Hopefully, I will get it right.
Again, Sandy, thanks for a great time today. We have to do it again.
Good luck with the CT Scan tomorrow.

It's so great meeting people that seemingly you only know through the typewritten page, and it is like watching black & white television, for half you life & then watching color. and then watching digital color picture!
I wish we all could met at one place, at the same time. We all gotta get out & meet one & other. Really !!

I am having a problem uploading the shots from today to my album. I am getting a message saying the file is too large. Here is what I did so far, I took the pictures off my camera card and saved them in Picasa which is the program I use for my photos and to email them. I then try to upload them to my album, and I receive the above message.

Thanks for any help you can provide.

Hi Cindy,
Did you resize the pictures?
Maximum file size (bytes): 2000000
Maximum image width (pixel): 1344
Maximum image height (pixel): 900
Most cameras are shooting at pixels greater than 1344 x 900 and will require resizing to up load into your album. Looking forward to seeing the pictures... good luck
Thanks for the help. I just went into my pix, thought I did what was necessary to resize them to 800 pixels but I still cannot upload them. I must have done something wrong. I have been able to successfully email the pix, but not upload to my album here.
I will try again later. Any idea on what I am doing wrong?

Hopefully, it will be back again and you will have to go to the big boy for your lunch. You are lucky in that area, as it seems you have an opportunity to run into them from time to time. Not here. I hope you get to see it again.
i can post them in the 1990 album on the album page. then you can re save the file and up load them to your album... or i can shrink them and email them back

Either way is fine. I just sent you an email. Did it arrive? Sorry to be having a difficult time with the process.
Thank you again.
