B B K K-Member support

Post by U-MAN »

I think I read in here, sometime ago ,A menber works for B B K ? Reason being,I have a question.A friend gave me a, near new,B B K K-Member support. But got it less rear mounting bolts. Are these Bolts special in anyway, like they would have a larger shoulder,or something? Thanks for any get back info from anyone out there.

The stock K-member rear 4 bolts are nothing special. They are about 1 1/2 - 2 inchs long. I would think that the stock bolts should work fine.

Hi, I thank you for the reply on the bolts.Sounds like a Sat. job. Have to get it out of the way, before the grass starts to take it's place on the job list.

Sorry I've been ignoring the McLaren for a while and haven't visited in a log time....

The bolts on the rear of that 4 point G load brace are much longer. They are just regular bolts with a simple washer to keep the head from tearing into the powdercoat finish. The front bolts are the same as stock. They just go through the brace and you're done.

No problemo.

The 4 point G load brace was a good piece. It's been discontinued for a while due to low sales but it really worked on the cars I've used them on.
