The guy i met named john has a 1990 with kenwood speakers and mine has kenwood speakers also. what year did the pioneers come in?

Both my 1990s have Kenwood, too. My 1986 Coupe has Alpine speakers.

Yeah, Pioneer speakers weren't used to the best of what I have seen.

It's hard to say that none were made with Pioneer though as asc wasn't the most consistant with their sound system components.

I apologize everyone, I was mistaken. Mine were Kenwood also. I haven't seen them for 10 years and forgot.

They are boxed up and sealed with the original head unit receiver.

I swapped mine out for MB Quarts! (no cutting involved.)

My car has kenwood speakers i thought maybe they were swaped out. Good they are original.
