we have been through this black or chrome thing a long time ago. my car had black. right now it has chrome (took them from a junk yard car) . and i have new repos in black ready to go on.

btw if you have a not so good driving record going back 5 years!!! grundy will NOT cover you! this january will be 5 years for me... grundy here i come!

My son and I just got back from about an hour of cruising in the Capri. The car runs and drives great. Had one guy pull up beside us at a light and tell us we had a "sick" ride. I guarantee, no one around here has ever seen one of these cars.

That's great stuff.

I drove my coupe up to get new tires on it last year and had a father and son follow me into the tire shop (they were also going there). I saw them walking around my car while I was already in the store.

I hear them talking when they enter the store. The kid goes "what does asc mclaren stand for?" and the father says, "never heard of it, probably some club the guy is in". Few have seen these coupes out west here in Arizona, and I love it!

'ya, 'round these parts light beige is #1 and silver is # 2 and white & then black. IF they come in any other colors......I've never seen 'em!
