ascMcLaren spotted

While on vacation in Phoenix for Spring Training, I checked out the amazing Pavilions car show in Scottsdale. Immediately when I pulled into the parking lot, I spotted and parked next to this:

Cool pics Robert

I'm in Florida for the week. Maybe I'll get lucky and spot one so I can post a pic.

1987 or 1988 early '88 with Recaros.

My babies are covered, in temperture controlled secure storage & covered with car covers. In about a month they well emerge to go
for a ride (1 ar a time) and share the road with the peasants.
   It's a nice place & close by. The owner is very nice to everyone.

He has a GT rear bumper on that car....and the mudflaps. At least it's period correct!

Any idea what he has mounted to the windshield header?

asc709, you are good ! That wrong rear bumper cover totally escaped me. Right you are ! BTW, my Mother was born/raised in El Paso, Tx.
See all those fancy homes going up the big mountains ? Her brother built 90% of them, like some 50 years ago. No I was never there,,,,Mom came "east" to N.J. in 1940. Went back for a look see in 1983.

Ah yes, the houses on Rim road. They are impressive. I will have to get some pics of my car with those houses as a backdrop sometime. Have you ever seen them?

No, I have never seen them. I met him only 3 times, when he came to Jersey to visit. He was a good guy, a nice man, that made tons of money and blew most of it on cars, flashy clothes, jewery, vacations, etc.

Somewhere up there is the A + P supermarket executive estate, or so I was told. I have never been ther. Mom went back in 1983, to attend his funeral. Shhe had become a Jersey-ite and didn't care too much for Texas any longer. My Dad & I stayed home, I recall and ate Hot Dogs every night until we were barking!!
