You're right, I should have recognized it. When I received the new listing notice from AutoTrader, I didn't look at it very closely, assumed that it was a totally new listing and hurriedly posted it. Oops.

FYI- I store my car at Gateway and have the past 7yrs, it has to be on consignment to be there, I take it out during the Summer where else can you get climate controlled and security storage for $1 a day !!! When I pull it for the Summer has a show prep and a full tank of fuel doesn't get much better than that.

Boy, that storage -VS- payment is dirt cheap. I would be ashamed to tell you what I am paying - but, I am NOT looking to sell any. So, I could not take advantage of that bargain !

Well being serious, now....

I went to visit my cars. I guess i needed a lift, from depression.
So, I took along my keyboard, so I'd have every one's keys.
I need to get the mileage for my car insurance, as it renews August 1st.

So, here we are:

1993 Cadillac Sixty Special = 10,024
1986 ascMcLaren Bubbleback Coupe = 710
1990 ascMcLaren Convertible = 2,370
1990 ascMcLaren 25th Silver Anniversary Edition Convert. = 6,821
2003 Lincoln Town Car Spring Feature Car "The Limited" = 10,888
2001 Jeep Cherokee Limited 4X4 Wagon (Final Year) = 61,989

The Jeep & the Lincoln are costly to insure. The Caddy &
McLarens are dirt cheap. All 3 Macs AND the Caddy total
$1,100 a year, for FULL coverage, 365 days @ year. Grundy Ins. of Pa.

Our Son just took delivery of his Non American, Non Kosher new car.
IT IS FOREIGN ! Oy Vey X 1,000

A 2010 Lexus All Wheel Drive Model is "IS" - 250.
It's Metallac Black, with black leather interior with "Ivory" Seat Stitching.
Instead of interior wood, he chose simulated marble. THAT simulated Marble is really nice !
It's a nice car. If it said Lincoln, Mercury or Buick, Cadillac on it - I'd buy one, too.

Your cars are valued at more than mine I'm quite sure. I went with Hagerty this year. 65 restored Thunderbird, 80 Corvette L82 and the 86 McLaren are $553.00 a year. No mileage limitation and the only limit on isage is 'Cannot drive them to work.' Since neither of us work, that's not a big problem. They don't ask for mileage updates either. Full coverage, no deductibles, and an agreed value. Better than what I had.

The 2 new vehicles Escape and F150 are over $1200.00 a year for full coverage on them both. Quite happy with that and the company is very highly rated. I did get a quote from GEICO once. What a joke!! It was almost double what I was paying and they claimed it was less than State Farm or Allstate!

Amica Mutual. Had them for many, many years and am very happy. Check them out thru Google. Also have my Homeowners with them. And HO insurance is a big problem here in Florida! But the rate I'm paying is very, very reasonable, compared to others.

The biggest difference is I am in NEW JERSEY !

Risk Takers
The "I wanna be first" crowd"

Crazy man! That's why I seldom take them out.
Hondas & Toyotas and jacked up F-150's with 20-somethings behind the wheel are THE worst.

Then, there is the beautiful New Jersey roads!!! You cannot go 1/2 a mile, on any street, at any time without huge pot holes !! Then when they finally arrive to "fix" them, they OVER FILL the thing, and make a huge BUMP UP, so they turn what was a U into a /\ ... I go around them i.e. S but my wife ??? Like an arrow right over them all. I will NOT ride in the Cherokee UNLESS I am allowed to drive! Otherwise I feel like I am on a horse !!!
