OF THE 87 TO 90 MCLARENS HOW MANY OF THEM HAVE BEEN WRECKED BEYOND REPAIR. I READ SOMEWHERE THAT THERE ARE ONLY 40 SOMETHING OF THE 90S LEFT. IS THIS TRUE. WHAT ABOUT THE 87S TO 89S

Don't believe it.
There is absolutly no way of knowing such. ALL ascMcLarnens are TITLED as FORD MUTANGS (or MERCURY CAPRIS-1984-1986).

None are titled ascMcLaren. Thefore, it's all heresay.
Nobody knows.

My McLaren is titled as a Mecury Convertible, not a Mecury Capri, but I don't know about the mustang Mclarens

1984-1986 = Mercury Capri Title
1987-1990 = Ford Mustang Title.

NONE, absolutely NONE were ever titled as an ascMcLaeren,
on their original Ford Motor Company Title, and no suplimental
title was ever issued. The FoMoCo build Code for the car was D32.
The amount of deletions, alterations, additions, FoMoCo did FOR ascMcLaren is staggering! I think I have included it on this site. I'll go looking (hunting) for it.

I WAS CHECKING OUT THE SITE AND RAN ACROSS A POST ABOUT A ASC MCLARE THAT WAS IN A WRECKING YARD . AND YOU ASKED WHAT THE VIN WAS SO YOU COULD WRITE IT OFF AS LOST. HOW MANY OF THE 87S TO 90S HAVE BEEN WRITEN OFF AS LOST BY YOU AND HOW MANY OF THEM WHERE 1 OF 1?

I have been aware of just 5 Capri versions (3 Coupes & 2 Verts and 6 Mustang versions. I am sure there were much more than that, but that is what I have.

My AZ title for my '89 is listed as Ford Mclar. I don't know what the original CO title read, but wouldn't they copy that one?

Yes, more often than not - BUT if an owner insisted that the car is/was a Ford Mustang, blahblahblah, but it is now a ASC McLaren, and I want that on my title and and and the typist might have just added it to get that person to just leave !!
