Its total BS. Ohio is surrounded by states that DON'T require front plates. But then, Ohio has always been detail oriented about this. You would think it would save them money by not having to produce two plates per vehicle. I know, too much common sense. I'd LOVE to take the front plate off of my ASC, I might rethink it now since it only gets driven about 300-400 miles a year now.

Chris if you want to sell it to me for a dollar I will plate it here in MI and allow you to drive it your 300-400 miles a year. pretty please i want a conv.

I heard the front plate allows the cops to aim the rader gun easier.

The capri bracket is the same as the LX Mustang 85-93. 84 used a metal bracket on most cars including the Mustang. 2 screws at the top into the bumper and 2 arms out the bottom. E5ZZ part number. Not sure if ASC used something different on the various models.
