Green (?) 88 on Cl only $800

Too bad there's not pictures, I'd like to see this one. I wonder if the green is original - if so, it's a 1 of 1; for only $800!

I believe that the green was a custom order making it a 1 of 1.
if memory serves me correct, the green was a Triumph color.

In 1988, they listed an "Alpine Green Metallic" ~ However, none were ordered during the first 3 months of the 1988 build. (October, November & December of 1987) and the color was quietly dropped. Records that I have show none made in Alpine Green. (It was a Ford Color).

A former dealer ordered one in Truimph's British Racing Green NON metallic. His car, I would imagine would be in extremely good condition.
The top was Tan and the interior was Sand Beige. My rusty memory says it was in the Carolinas or Virginia.

Yes, I think I was told that, from someone at ASC. It was a 1985. It has never surfaced.

I sent the owner an email about this car. I am interested in saving this one for some reason that I can not explain. I dont even know if it runs yet.

Funny, but not drunk

Now is THE SHOCKER of the year:

After the worst nite of my life. a friend told me - like midnight last night that I should sleep sitting up, so .... i sat down on our super thick leater sofa and fell asleep sitting up.

UNBELIEVABLE, but I awoke at 7AM feeling 100% perfect !!! Like I had no Chemo for 2 months, kinda feeling. Zero pain, Zero discomfort.
Sofa-sleeper again 2-nite 4 sure. I go back to hospital tomorrow, Wednesday, to get disconnected from my take home 42 hour plastic bottle
of Chemo. Then, I am done for 2 weeks.
Dr even kicked up the OX SALLY PLATINUM a little bit. I got home at 4PM and was wild in cramps, pain, dizzy, and more. Perfect 2-day
Simply nuts.

Odd. He places an sdvertisment & does not respond to an inquery.
There were LISTED colors for McLarens, that either only 1 was made and others that NONE were made, Alpine Green Metallic was definately listed. In the color breakout, published, Alpine Green was not listed, but the listed number added up correctly (1,015) for the year (1988), without Alpine Green ! Regal Red Fox Metallic was 1 made and Coral Red (Pink) was another with just 1 made. Summer Tan was another (1989) listed with zero made. Although any YELLOW wws NOT listed for 1989, 1 was made ! Then, it was repainted, Jet Black. before leaving thr ascMcLaren factory. It is counted in the Jet Black figures.
