WTB: 86 Air Horn setup (new) and Alpine 7272 trim bezel

Post by 02z06 »

I need a correct set of horns in good working condition for an '86 ASC Coupe (I have read that the rivieras that hank has are not correct, thus the wanted ad here) and an Alpine 7272 radio trim bezel.

PM me here or email me at buickgs455@gmail.com

Thanks!
Chris

I am pretty sure the stock horns are both the same length.

Looking at pictures in another thread, it does kind of look like they are different lengths. Can anyone chime in here?

Peter, I'd really appreciate it if you could look for me! While we are on the subject, does anyone have pictures of how theirs are wired in?

The two horns are different lengths. So you get that HI-lo sound.

I really should figure out all the sets I have. I might have some extras.

Any of the aftermarket horns/compressors can probably be made to work. Things never changed much over the years. The brackets are the biggest change which will affect mounting. But I would imagine something could always be fabbed.

I assume they have an italian/german "country" horn sound? Something like an old porsche or ferrari would sound?

Yeah. They put these on various Italian cars. I see them on ebay pulled from things like old Ferraris, etc.
