Straight/Clean 88 ASC Mclaren Rolling Chassis/Parts $1500.00
Things have taken some strange turns for me lately and I need to sell my project. I've lost a good chunk of my income and my cousin passed away leaving me with his fully restored and built up 95 Cobra.
I just don't have the $ or room to keep my 88 ASC McLaren in my tiny little storage place behind the house. I have to keep my cousin's car there now as it has a very new paint job and it has too much sentimental value to let it waste in the weather.
What I have for sale is a rolling chassis for an 88 ASC McLaren.
I bought the car used a few years back and the paint was just not done right so I stripped it all off.
The body is damn near perfect with no past bondo or damage repair.
The deck lid is in great shape.
Doors are in great shape.
The trunk lid is also in great shape.
ASC did a crap job on modifying the trunk lid for the 3rd brake light but I put a nice LED light in the trunk lid instead and filled the area that they jacked up (bad hack job ASC).
The top is decent with no major tears in it.
Along with the sale of the rolling chassis I will include the following items that would total up to more than the asking price.
90+ ASC rocker panels new in the box. (I took them out to start installing them but got side tracked and just put them back in the box). 92 Mustang front fenders (to fit with the rocker panels).
93 Cobra fender extensions (go behind the bumper)
Fuel tank.
Front bumper.
Dashboard with serialized badge.
Heater/AC box
The car had been converted to 5 lugs so there are 17" 97/98 GT wheels on it to make it roll.
All of the holes in the engine bay have been welded, smoothed and sealed for a clean look.
I will include all parts that I have for the car like nuts and bolts etc....
i drove it about 1,000 miles before I took it apart but never got around to putting it back together and now I don't think I ever will honestly so it needs to find a better home.
Hereis a link to my Photo bucket pics of the car. The car for sale is the silver and then bare metal one shown. The red, white and blue cars are not mine.
The late model wheels are in some of the pics.
