I was planning on purchasing a 88 McLaren and was wondering the best way to tell if this car is a true mclaren and if the price is reasonable. Who can I ask questions about this car? [/quote]

Well, you CAN'T fake an 88 ascMcLaren. Either it is a 2 seater Mustang vert made by asc or a 4 seater vert made by Ford.

Post pictures and we can all see what's what.
