It looks like he did get some advice before he got started. One thing they forgot to mention was to get the American made product. The cheap off shore copies don't last very long and you will do it again in a few years.

Yeah, I saw it. As admin, I get a list of all referring pages, and that one was listed.

ALso, It seems Brad Barnett is directing some traffic my way....as well as MANY email accounts. Looks like people are passing around links to this site in email.

Here are this month's referring pages....it grows every month. One problem with this list is it doesn't show the entire referring page URL...so I can see that people came here from a newsgroup or car forum, but I don't know the actual post. I usually have to join the forum and search for the message to find the actual page theis site was linked from.

I see my Fotki albums have only sent 1 person. I had closed them to public search after I found where the flood of spam came from. I'm going to try opening them again and see what happens, I've certainly posted the link to here enough in there that people should see where to go.

BTW, I have uploaded a bunch of new stuff swiped from eBay. I might have to rearrange the albums a little bit since they're getting so full. I might go year by year eventually, unfortunately when I started this project I wasn't as diligent in using year and plaque # in the photo name and some cars I'm not sure what year they'd go to.

Your site is really really cool. I had been thinking about starting to religiously snag some asc pictures...but you've done it so well.

Year by year would be nice....ask Sandy wich car is what year...he can always seem to tell.

Does Fotki limit your image size? Seems like some are fairly small...I know I go over there a lot and look at pictures and wish that they were bigger for more detail.

I have been snagging some pictures of Capri cars as they come up and may start doing year by year of those.

The trouble with Capris is that there are sooooo few decent ones that show up. Most are simply beat to death. But occasionally one surfaces on ebay that is low mileage, original and with good pictures.

Eventually as this site fills up (out of 600MB we have 230MB left), it is going to move to a new URL...with much more space.....and hopefully some more goodies if I can get some stuff finished....

Fotki doesn't limit image size per se. What they do is have a default size and if you look below the picture sometimes you'll see a link that says "Get Original Uploaded Photo", click on that and you'll get the size of the photo as it was uploaded. Unfortunately, a lot of the photos on eBay don't go any bigger than the normal size, people don't get the upsize option.
