That car was left outside in Wisconsin for years. Probably worse off than the white one on ebay right now for 2500.

At least this one has most all of the ascmcLaren bits - looks like everything except the air dam. Now, what condition they're in ... that a different question.

$30k later, somebody could have a nice $10k car....

Some people should be made to sell stuff they would otherwise leave fallow. This could've had loving home before it got this bad.

Hey now.... I'm not sure about the price, but the car has the original wheels, headlight covers, and rear covers - how rare is that? honestly, on the outside it looks like it needs some rust repair and paint.

can't see the interior, mechanicals, and undercarriage.....

Those ASC wheels need refinishing--badly. There's another $1000+ right there. No front fascia, bad skirts, questionable headlight/taillight covers.

Sadly, it's too far gone to be anything but a project of love at current prices vs. one far more complete.

You should be able to get the wheels done for under $800.

but yeah, it all adds up....center caps, etc etc etc

Mike: You mean to tell me that a set of 4 wheels, in perfect condition would be worth $800.00?

I have a set of 4 that I paid less than that for, with some crappy tires.

Saved them from a crusher/recycler!

They are the Gold ones.

You would have to do a lot of the work yourself. The interior is pretty nice as I have seen this car upclose. I believe it runs well, too.

A decent interior is always a plus. It's too bad the body is just so far gone. For a painted steel surface to look so bad, it must have been exposed uncovered every day of it's life. I'm curious to know how badly sun damaged all of the plastic exterior components are.
Poor car.

Cost to refinish and market value are two different things. Just like the cost to restore a car doesn't define what's it's worth. Market value is defined by what a willing buyer and willing seller agree upon.

I think it would be a Great car to drive just the way it is!

I go to some of these shows and the rusty unrestored cars are the best!

I guess that puts me and the GP in that group.
