Surgery

Post by Sandy »

I had surgery this past Wenedsday and I am hurting BAD

I sleep ALOT. I lso have internal bleeding and have lost 15 pounds in a week. I am on IRON pills. Dr. says it will take 4 weeks to ne up-to-speed. This had nothing to do with my Cancer. I really need an

3 days prior to entering thr hospital, the weather was terrific, (Last Sunday) and we took out the 25 Anniversary McLaren, AMD put down the top & took a ride. 2 people at stop lights gave us this:-

Hopefully I will heal and take "everyone" else !!

Hope all turns out great and you return to what you were 10 years ago.

We need you!

I thought I was going to need surgery on my knee, but don't. Had both a gout attack and tendonitis. Have arthritis in the knees, hips, back and thought for sure my knee was just worn out. The gout I don't understand. The last uric acid test I had (a month ago) the level was 4.2. Gout doesn't strike till you're over 7.0. Or so I was led to believe!! This is the 4th week and it's still tender. No way could I have gotten in or out of the McLaren or the Vette!

It was a typo. The Surgery was 1 hour, but healing time is like 4 weeks.

I have been in MAJOR pain for a week, hurting like NEVER BEFORE !

THIS HAD NOTHNG TO DO WITH MY CANCER.
WE HAD TO SUSPEND CHEMO AS THIS OPERATION COULD NOT
GO WITH CHEMO.

I AM HOME, RESTING AND BORED SILLY. IT IS DROP DEAD GEORGIOUS HERE IN NEW JERSEY, NOW FOR 4 DAYS. 74 DEGEES SUPER SUNNY, NOT HUMID JUST PERFETION. I WANTED TO EACH CAR OUT FOR A GOOD RIDE. ONLY THE SILVER 25TH ANNIVERSARY GOT OUT ! THE OTHERS ARE WAITING.

i WILL TELL THE GROUP WHAT THIS SURGERY IS / WAS.
Skip it if you are eating.

below

Okay. Nobody knows HOW this happened - it just did....

One's "poops" form in the upper bowels and the matter then travels downward to the anse, and out your butt.

For reasons completely unknown, this downward "tube" for lack of the real name, in me..... narrowed so much, I could not " GO ". Got it ?

So....a team of specialists put me out and inserted into my @$$ an alumn 5-inch SPLINT to open and keep it open. When it's work is done it will slide out (so he says).

So far it is very painfull. It feels like I am sitting on a shoehorn.

I am on liquid food and it all tastes like puke.

drinking alot of 7-UP - Haiwian Punch, skim milk, O.J. coffee, tea,
and a little bit of food such as Chicken soup, Matzoh Ball Soup, Green Pea Soup, It takes 4 weeks to recover. I am only on day 5.
9 to go

I am not tuff. Actually, I am a "softee" ~ I just put faith in God and I promess to do my part, if he does his.

You guys have no ideas of what I have been through! I had a stint surgerically implanted into my bowels, because they were narrowing too much. (I am still working to master that.) I also had to havemy penis irrogated. The most painfull thing in the world, it lasts about 4 minutes, but feels like an hour. I was howelling in pain !!!!! The person who did it (nurse) was like 23 Y.O. good lookinfg female.

Yup, I have been ghrough ALOT, since 2007, fighting Cancer....bottom line?

I AM STILL HERE. bUT, STILL HOME, REDCOVERING FROM YESTERDAY.
i HAVE BEEN OFF CHEMO FOR LIKE 7 WEEKS AND I GOTTA GET BACK TO IT ASAP !!!! IT ALL HURTS, BUT WHEN I SEE OUR SON ( HE IS 28 AND A CPA AND A LAWYER...BOTH) AND WHEN I SEE KAREN, MY WIFE OF 29 YEARS, AND MY MODEST HOUSE AND MY CARS...... IT REMINDS
ME WHY I FIGHT.

Also my Rabbi taught me not to bitter about my health plight, but to accept it and follow what the doctors tell me to do.
I have, and I have STAGE 3 .... and I have lived with that, now, for 5... YES, FIVE years ! I do have good & bad days, never so so, it's either GOOD or BAD. When BAD, I stay home, and indoords and rest, knowing it will pass, as it has B-4.

now, that's all I am gonna talk about, regarding ME !!
