I hate this eastern Standard Time.

#1. I don't get up at the crack of dawn. Hell, I don't even get up with the crack of a whip!

#2. I am not ready for bed at 8PM, but it's already been DARK for an hour!!

My clocks may be on EST, but I am on CST or MST or some other time!!

My 1986 Mclaren 'vert #0082 was ordered in Jan 1986 from Hines Park
Lincoln The car was made for the owner George Kolb. The car was ordered with Recaro seats, Whistler radar detector, 140 mph speedo, decor door panels. and tailight covers and smoked headlight covers. 18,000 and I have all the paper work on this car.

My 85 SC was from:

Dellen Lincoln - Mercury
Indianapolis, Indiana

It was sold in 2000 and location is now a storage facility.

It was bought by an employee for his wife or girfriend. I would hope it would be one in the same... never know though.

86-0001 was originally delivered to Ft. Lauderdale Lincoln-Mercury.

Just get your Emminger report as it will be listed on th invoice.

Both my blue/orange '85 and my blue/orange '86 coupes came from Star Lincoln/Mercury in Southfield, Mi.

They stopped selling them at the very beginning of '86 production because they had a really bad problem with theft. They even had a few stolen out of the building from behind a barbed wire fence.

My 85 red/tan SC, #218, came from McGowen Lincoln-Mercury, West Chester, PA. Invoice from ascMcLaren is dated April 11, 1985.

A "Deluxe (Marti) Report" will tel you the dealer number and name and address.

Eminger Invoice and Marti Report are two different things.

Eminger Invoice is a paper invoice originally created by Ford and kept by Lois Eminger after Ford could legally destroy them (after seven years?). The state that Marti Auto received the invoices was not good...stored in boxes, on pallets, not in order, and some missing. IF an invoice for your car can be found there is only ONE copy so you have to prove that you are the owner of the car to be able to buy it.

Marti Reports are digitally generated from Ford's data and they can be generated over and over again for the same VIN. No proof of ownership is required. There is no such thing as "missing" or "can't be found" for a Marti Report.
