1987 ASCMcLren was at Mecum Auto Auction Friday. High bid of $4,000.00. Did not sell. That's a sobering thought!

And yet the GT's, of the same vintage brought $2,000.00 more!
People just don't know we even exist, or that it's a different concept. I can understand some of it for 1987-1990. They GT's had a vert. But the Capri based cars? I think they look better and are much more differentiated from the standard Capri, which did not have a vert!
Of course I may be slightly prejudiced.

With the top down yes, top up, not as much IMO.shelbyscarab wrote:and I'll never understand that. It makes no sense. These cars are 10x better looking than their standard GT and LX cousins of the same years 87-90......scoutdrivinrebel wrote:The verts just don't bring much $, probably never will unfortunately.
Plus I just don't think people want 2 seats when they know they can get a GT with 4.
Now don't go thinking I hate aero ASC's lol, I like them a lot but I just don't see them as desirable to most people....but I am not most people, I like Capri's and Bubble butts and cannot lie lol
