I think I called them a few times a long time ago and it was hard to get details on what they had (part condition, availability)
You can probably dig up a few threads/comments at FEP. (http://vb.foureyedpride.com/archive/ind ... 30223.html)
It's one of those places where things just come off funny. I don't think they are crooks at all. Just a place that rubs the wrong way.
I think generally the criticism is that they part out anything (perfectly good cars) which is not really helpful to the hobby.

I dealt with them about 6 months ago. I had a bad experience with another mustang parts place to the south in Monroe, guy offered one thing on the phone, when I got there the deal had changed because the owner claimed I didn't make it clear enough that I wanted a drop in all accessories attached motor and a set of rims with matching tires. He had cobbled up boxes of crap, and couldn't match the tires, and the engine was off an older non-roller motor even though I had specified an ho roller.
Same day I went to MPS, had an engine pulled while I waited, a good set of wheels and tires, plus they bagged all the hardware and were very good about not cutting up harnesses and fuel lines. It was a true drop in and I got it for $200 less than the other guy.
I understand what you say about cutting up perfectly good cars, the ones I saw seemed to be insurance wrecks, even the one my motor came out of was from a car that had light front end damage, but it doesn't take much to total a fox these days. They just are not seen as valuable. Most people shy away from a salvage title, no matter how insubstantial the damage.
