in the Process of purchasing a '88 ASC McLaren

Post by Mikesmith96 »

Will be checking out this '88 from a consignment lot, how cautious should I be that the car is not authentic. The interior has no " Limited edition #car# " on the passanger side dash as well as owner does not have the owners manual.

Verts are much harder to fake than a Coupe. Some things disappear or get changed over the decades. Can you gets some pics?

Sure looks like the real deal and in nice shape. Remember: all ASC/McLaren convertibles were two-seaters.

Also, If you're missing anything, Hank at www.ascmclaren.com is awesome. His page only has a small percentage of his stock. Best to call.
