1988 mclaren

I'm posting this to get help for a friend on getting information on his 1988 mclaren mustang. The Vin number is 1FABP40E4JF240406. The dash plaque is missing. It currently has a Saleen engine in it and a 5 speed transmission and has been modified extensively. He is interested in stock color body, top and interior and its rarity 1 of ???? Any information offered on this mclaren will greatly be appreciated. Thank you in advance

'88 was the most-produced year. Around 1,000

There is no real as built history on most of these cars. Some info was recorded along the way. The database here shows the following info was recorded probably by the previous owner. I also keep a database but it was not listed there. You can get a Marti Report which will show as built by Ford including the interior color and options. Of course ASC repainted almost every car.
