'85 wiring harness diagram?

I am attempting to get a parasitic draw diagnosed in my '85 manual vert. I'm hoping someone can direct me to a source for a harness diagram to provide to the mechanic who has agreed to "try" to diagnose/fix it. How much was the original harness "butchered"? A wrinkle is that an heir earlier in it's history crossed the battery cables which has necessitated the replace meant of the alternator, voltage regulator and the "black box". There seems to be a short in the pull down for the cowl as it sometimes continuously cycles up and down until I can catch it mid-sycle and open it manually and start over. Any input would be greatly appreciated!!!

IMHO, these are the easiest cars to find a parasitic drain. First off, narrow it down to the circuit affected.

Use an ammeter (either clamp on or inline with the battery) to measure the current draw. Yank fuse after fuse until the draw disappears. That's your circuit. Wherever it goes, start unplugging the devices on that circuit. Put the fuse back in, if the draw is gone, then you start plugging things back in until it comes back. If everything is unplugged from the circuit, then it's a wiring harness issue.

The mechanic should be able to narrow down the fuse/circuit in about 30 min tops. If they can't, it's time for a new mechanic.

Unplugging devices may be a little harder since you may have to remove panels, etc. But often they can be unplugged fairly easily or a bulb removed, etc.
