Thanks Sandy. I'm wondering since I plan on keeping this McLaren for as long as possible should I start buying as many parts as I can off of ebay to have them for a rainy day. Are parts difficult to come by through the Ford dealer?

The 87-93 Mustang parts are still fairly available.

The nice thing about 87-93 is that it IS the most popular Fox-Bodied Mustang and there were almost NO changes from 87-93. So there is probably still a fair supply of parts sitting on Ford shelves.

5-10years from now, probably the Ford supply will be gone but the reproduction firms will be picking up the slack. Reproduction manufacturers will probably pump stuff out for 87-93 cars long before they get to any of the much needed stuff for the 79-86 cars.
