Meh. The coupe seats I got went for cheap. I expect these to go for cheap too. There aren't that many people watching for asc parts or willing to pay their true value it seems.

Weren't you selling a really nice set of vert seats a while ago? Seems like there was an almost new set of tan ones on ebay that didn't get much action.

Those seats are beautiful! If they were blue or red, I'd be very very tempted to buy & and install them in either of my two 'Verts. I know they are NOT CORRECT for a 1990, but geeez, who'd know ?

Also VERY interesting is the paperwork. NOW, we finally have the seat style #. Remember a while back someone on here was looking for what STYLE # they were ???

Gotta be the sole set, brand new, in captivity since June, 1988. Where else ya gonna find a matched pair?

Somebody with gray interior, here, needs to buy these & store them at Mike's place!

Strangely, THOSE seats in MY car would NOT bother me. Why? I really like them, ALOT!!

WAIT ! I just realized looking at the bottom side that IF one's car did NOT have there $1,765.00 optional seat from "Day-1" ascMcLaren installed, that the many may features of them will NOT work, as you will NOT have the other end(s) to the connectors, for the various functions they do.

No, THAT would bother me. Install & plug in, only !

These would only be "correct" in a 1987 or a 1988 Ford version McLaren. Recaros were discontinued 75% of the way thru the 1988 build, and this color, medium grey was not availble in the 1986 nor 1985 Capri SC 2-seat roadster.

Still for $790....thats CHEAP!!!!! Think about it....these are RECAROS....VINTAGE RECAROS! UNIQUE RECAROS! What do new Recaros run?

For whatever it's worth, in 1987 & 1988 the MSRLP that ascMcLaren listed them on their sticker was $1,765.00. I think invoice was $1,500.
