Check the OTHER ITEMS OFFERED BY SELLER, he is also selling brandy new headlight & taillight covers for Capris & taillight covers for the Mustangs (ascMcLarens, we are talking here....). He also has a roof. But he shows a picture of a roof on a red car. THAT rood is in error and is an aftermarket roof with incorrect stitching. I was under the impression Hank's roofs were OEM. I'd check before sending $$$

Yeah, I have snagged a few items far below Hank's normal prices when he runs them on ebay.

Some stuff gets bid up there but alot of it doesn't....especially the vert stuff. I don't think there are enough vert owners watching ebay. Stuff for the coupes get bid up by all the Capri owners.

Are you talking about the seam that extends along the top of the side window to the back window? I have not yet firgure out what a correct top is yet other than the rear window being 3 panels. Also, is the snap correct after the window at the tonneau cover edge? Any noticeable differances in the 84-86 vs other years?

There is another guy selling tops on ebay as well. He lists just about any car. 84-86 going for $400+ vs others at $750

The 1987 & 1988 tops had that kinda like "flap" over the "C" panel. The 1989 & 1990s did not, they were smooth. None of them had that snap, visable in Hank's photo. The seam that goes across the top by the back window shoud come down at an angle on the "C" pillar like this \ and meet like the base of the door window, not wrap around the little plastic roof windows and drop down straight to the belt line as in )

For 1984 thru 1988. See that6 white stitch seam that goes across just above the plastic window? Wrong! See how it comes down closley wrapping around the little window? Wrong.
The one I posted has NO such seam.
