My 85 auto vert is going away :(

The nail in the coffin was all the frame rot found above the K-member. That coupled with the engine harness being toast due to a foreign object makes a rebuild too pricey.

That said I am removing just about everything I can unbolt or cut off.

Things like the doors, interior, rear clip etc. are all coming off for safe keeping. Just in case my 18K mile 85 needs anything in the future.

That said, if anyone is looking for any odd parts I may just have them for you.

I'd be interested in some of the McLaren specific parts - email me at cassman108@yahoo.com with some pics of the interior if you have them.

Thanks

I did not realize that you had an 18,000 mile 1985. What color? Auto or 5-Speed?
