thats the way it goes.... it be one thing if the rest of the car was cherry... needs seats redone, top fixed, prob 1500 in frame work, 2500 in parts, new cover for the top, all the emblems and plaques and it would still be an R-title car that wouldnt be worth more than 6 grand.... makes the other 11 worth even more

I know, your right, but I just get emotional about the cars. I think they are neat cars. Way underrated. The engineering that went into building them is very impressive. I see them slow reducing in numbers, makes me wish I could save them all!

ya i really wish it wasnt hit as hard. The idiot i bought it off of had it sitting outside w/ a holey tarp covering it for 4.5 years  i tried to buy it last year and he wouldnt budge on price. Got him down $200 bucks from last year. He knew it was a mclaren but that was about it, had no idea how rare it was or maybe he wouldnt have stripped the emblems off to hang on his toolbox or whatever he did w/ them. Hopefully some mclaren owners will get some decent parts for their car and the legacy of 1901 will live on in others!!!!

i've had 4 auctions end already using BIN, i put that up there w/ a price i'd be happy at getting and that i know is still a possible good deal for the buyer. I do 90% of my ebay shopping using BIN's. What was the bin for the spoiler?? think i dropped it as low as 140 or so...
