Coupe Spoiler

Post by Muscleford »

I am interested in buying a rear spoiler for the coupe. If someone has one from a parts car that is in good conditiion let me know.

Also interested in headlight covers for the coupe.

Try ROBSTANG at www.foureyedpride.com

They are fiberglass and very strong.

The headlight covers are on ebay or www.ascmclaren.com sells them.

How do you know that beisde the fact they appear darker. That could be caused by the dark background of the cardboard.

Thanks

George

P.S. I just won the auction so I am feeling a little bit deceived. I did not see the comment posted.

They appear noticeably darker than stockers.

Don't worry, there really isn't anything left other than repros around. Maybe a few oem sets. The repros appear tougher to crack...which isn't saying much since the originals are very easy to bust.

hopefully someone will repo the headlight covers in the correct tint.
the darker repos look fine when you have a black or blue car, but when the repos are on white cars, it just looks wrong.
werent you mentioning that the rear cover repos are slightly darker, but closer to the correct shade than the fronts?

I think Hank might still be selling original rear covers. The ones I got not long ago match the ones I got 8 years or so ago and match the original front ones I got back then too.

Did you ask Hank about changing the tint? He's the only one that will probably repro these. I doubt anyone else will be bothered for such a small market.

Yeah. He's tough to contact from may-september.

October-April when the weather is colder, he's much easier to get ahold of.

Hmmm... I might have one, will check tonight. This is the piece between the rear bumper and the wheel opening?
