Some idiots think that all HO engines were roller engines.

HO was a pure MARKETING tool by Ford. From 82?-85, the HO didn't have any real meaning except that you got the 351 firing order.

Most people (kids) play with the 86-93 roller engines and they'll argue with you that only the roller engines were HO engines.

Whoa.... I see it's up to $15,100.00 since I last looked, when it was $12, something. Getting closer. I want it, but have zero place to keep it. Really cannot spend the $$$ now, as I am doing an $11,000 dental job.
(Ive always had lousey teeth, inherited,) and soon, by the time you're all handing out Halloween candy, I will have stunning teeth for the first time sime I was 22 ! Yipee ! Decent storage here in NJ will run you $175.00 @ month. My current monthly bill is $ 537.05 ! To add this car, would add another $175.00, to a toal of $ 8,550 @ year, for car storage !
So both me and THAT car are crying that she is not coming here to "rest" !
I pray for her well being.

Getting up there in $

Post by svo413 »

Last I looked it was at $17K and the reserve was not met, but lowered. Book value is about $9500. I might have considered $10K but it's out of my price range even though the wife wanted it. I already have 1 low mileage car to tend to and a second while nice, would be a lot of work.

Unfortunately in this case, book value doesn't really apply to this car. Out of all the cars to surface, this one is just about the nicest, if not THE nicest. $10k would have been highway robbery.

Almost $18k. With still one day to go.

Not too shabby. I wonder if it'll break the 20k mark.

I think so & I hope so, as it's a good barometer for my 2 'Verts. It's got 12,000 Miles, mine are at 7,300 & 2,050.

Sortof. Add a couple of thousand just because you have the Mustang version. :(

I see that bidding has ended and the '85 Capri McLaren was a NO SALE, topping off at $17,800. Too Bad. I think that his Reserve was $20,000 - possibly lowered to $19,000, but NOT sure on what the revised reserve was down to.
