85 Door Lock bezel

I have noticed several variations. Is the 85 Door Lock bezel supposed to be painted body color or factory black? I thought body color until I saw a low mileage car with black one on a red painted car.

Convertiboles painted to match body color, coupes done in flat black

Thanks for the reply. That's what I thought. The low mileage one in recent discussions must have had the locks changed.
